Kenya and Rwanda​

In addition to its breathtaking landscapes, East Africa is home to a variety of ethnic communities, each possessing distinctive customs and languages.
The climate in East Africa is predominantly dry and hot. However, its varied landscapes provide a pleasant tropical atmosphere, with cooler temperatures in the early morning and evening. Overall, you can expect warm and sunny days.
Long rains typically occur from April to early June, while the short rains fall in November.

Rwanda, known as the "Land of a Thousand Hills," is a landlocked nation in eastern-central Africa, bordered by Uganda, Burundi, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Tanzania.

Its landscape features grassy uplands and fertile farmlands, providing a habitat for rare mountain gorillas, which boost tourism—the key sector of Rwanda's economy. The country has shown remarkable economic growth and a strong commitment to conservation, especially for mountain gorillas in Virunga National Park.

Join Pete in Virunga National Park for an unforgettable gorilla trekking experience! The park is home to around half of the world's mountain gorilla population, with twelve habituated families. Conservation efforts have increased their numbers from about 350 to nearly 850.
